Sarah Ruhl’s Passion Play at Irondale Center until June 5th only!
“A more genially funky production is hard to imagine…. This youthful play blooms with fragrant grace in the hands of a bright, engaging cast.”
Charles Isherwood, The New York Times

“Sarah Ruhl’s Passion Play” is a rich experience that all lovers of theater should rush to see before the limited run ends”
Jennifer Farrar, AP

“Sarah Ruhl’s Passion Play” is the most exciting, stimulating, and thrilling piece of theater to hit New York since “Angels in America.”
David Sheward, Backstage
Epic Theatre Ensemble is proud to present the New York Premiere of PASSION PLAY by Sarah Ruhl (2010 Tony Award Nominee for Best Play: In The Next Room… or the vibrator play), directed by Mark Wing-Davey (Mad Forest) at The Irondale Center inside the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church in the BAM Cultural District of Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
A magical celebration of devotion by “one of the most gifted and adventurous playwrights to emerge in recent years” (The New York Times), Sarah Ruhl’s PASSION PLAY spans three centuries following three communities attempting to stage the death and resurrection of Christ. From Queen Elizabeth’s England to Hitler’s Germany to Reagan’s America, Ruhl’s triptych is filled with lust, loss, whimsy, and a lot of fish.

The 2010 alternate side parking (street cleaning) rules suspension calendar is available on the DOT Web site, along with other alternate side parking information, at http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/motorist/scrintro.shtml.
