Historic Fort Greene Brooklyn

Two great Earth Day events this weekend!

There’s no greener place to be than Fort Greene this weekend with these two Earth Day celebrations. Keep in touch with all the green initiatives happening with our Green Fort Greene & Clinton Hill Campaign.

Electronics Recycling Days
from the Lower East Side Ecology Center
The Ecology Center is holding electronic waste (“e-waste”) collections to responsibly recycle unwanted or broken electronics from New York City residents (no business waste). All you have to do is bring your e-waste to the collection event. No home appliances such as microwaves or refrigerators. A list of acceptable materials can be found here.
