The 2008 Fort Greene House tour is just around the corner, and maybe your house should be included.
It’s never too early. The 28th Fort Greene House tour, which was held on May 7, 2006, was an overwhelming success. The homes were wonderful, interesting and varied. A great afternoon was had by all who participated. But why should you include your house in the 2008 house tour?
There are many reasons: your home may be historically accurate for its time; or it is architect–designed to meld the 19th & 21st centuries; or it reveals a contemporary environment in harmony with Fort Greene; or it has a distinctive garden. There are many reasons.
The Fort Greene Association House Tour provides us with the important opportunity to tell the world that we are proud of our ever-evolving community; its homes, its people, its underlying spirit. Be a part of it.
